A Journey Through Cusco's Rich History

Your City Tour begins with pick-up from your hotel between 12:40 PM and 1:00 PM.
Our first stop is the majestic Cusco Cathedral, located in the heart of the Plaza de Armas. Here, you’ll admire stunning masterpieces from the Cusco School of Art, including the iconic "Last Supper" featuring guinea pig and intricate works in gold leaf and embossed silver.

Next, we visit the Qoricancha, also known as the Temple of the Sun—the most important religious site in the Inca Empire. Marvel at the precision of Inca stonework and the striking contrast with the colonial Spanish construction that now surrounds it, all set among beautiful gardens and ceremonial fountains.

Then, we leave the city center to explore four must-see archaeological sites on the outskirts of Cusco:

• Sacsayhuamán: A massive fortress built with giant stones perfectly fitted together, offering panoramic views over the city.
• Qenqo: A ceremonial site with mysterious underground passages and a semi-circular amphitheater where mummies were once preserved.
• Puca Pucara: Known as the “Red Fortress,” this military site features defensive architecture, ancient aqueducts, and lookout points.
• Tambomachay: Also called the “Inca Baths,” this sacred complex is dedicated to the worship of water, with channels and cascading fountains still flowing after centuries.

We’ll conclude the tour around 6:30 PM, dropping you off at your hotel so you can enjoy your evening in Cusco at your own pace.
